Abstract: Let R be a sel njective algebra. In this paper we consider Ω-perfect modules and show how to use them to get information about the shapes of the Auslander-Reiten components containing modules of fi nite complexity. We also look at the growth of the sequence of Betti numbers for modules belonging to certain types of Auslander-Reiten components.
